Job Summary
Conduct responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishments in occupied and void social housing properties across Edinburgh. Perform carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, and basic electrical works while carrying out damp and mould remediation to meet the "Lettable Standard." Respond to day-to-day repair requests and emergency call-outs, communicating clearly with tenants regarding work nature and timescales. Ensure all tasks comply with building regulations and health & safety procedures, recording details accurately via handheld device. Maintain company vehicle and tools in good order, providing out-of-hours service as required on a rota basis.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability across multiple trades, ideally within social housing or domestic settings
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in a core trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering)
- Experience working in occupied properties with a strong focus on customer care
- Background, Identity & Security checks
