Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, and monitor performance to maintain process yields in a clean room environment. Conduct fault finding and problem solving on bespoke automated equipment while assisting the Projects Team with implementation changes. Propose and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operations. Work within a 4 on 4 off rotating day and night schedule supporting high-volume manufacturing of glucose monitoring systems and biosensors.
Required Qualifications
- experience of Engineering within a manufacturing environment
- experience and skills in set-up of precision assemblies
- the use of machine tools
- fault finding and problem solving
- completed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship
- a higher education qualification (such as a ONC, HNC, HND or degree) in a related subject
- the ability to effectively communicate with your peers and other departments
- the ability to maintain a high standard of record keeping as required by our stringent quality systems
- 4 on 4 off Days and Nights rotating pattern
- 4 on 4 off Nights
Desired Qualifications
- Laser cutting & marking
- Micro fluid deposition
- Vision systems
- Experience with any of the following (Laser cutting & marking, Micro fluid deposition, Vision systems) in a regulated industry (e.g. pharma, medical device)
