Job Summary
Conduct reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance across NHS hospital sites between Swindon and Salisbury. Perform tasks including emergency lighting checks, fire alarm testing, pipework replacement, and fabric repairs using a handheld PDA to log jobs and risk assessments. Work as part of a mobile team on an out-of-hours call-out rota for urgent repairs, with standard hours from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Requires a full UK driving licence and DBS disclosure. Join a division supporting over 200 buildings for 20 NHS Trusts to ensure safe environments for service users.
Required Qualifications
- previous relevant experience in the maintenance of buildings
- solid Health & Safety awareness
- experience of using a handheld device (PDA)
- excellent customer service skills
- full driving licence
- DBS Disclosure
Desired Qualifications
- experience gained working directly for the NHS
- experience gained from a maintenance contractor providing services within the NHS
- experience gained within other commercial settings (offices, supermarkets, hotels etc)
