Job Summary
Study blueprints and sketches to prepare project layouts and determine material requirements. Construct and assemble wood and metal framing for modular components, then install doors, cabinetry, flooring, drywall, and wall accessories using hand and power tools. Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy, remove defective parts, and repair structures. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and inspect finished projects for quality standards. Travel to active construction sites as required to support installation, repair, and warranty activities. This role requires 2 years of carpentry experience, the ability to lift 50-75 lbs, and willingness to work in manufacturing facilities and non-conditioned environments.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of carpentry or construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Ability to read and use measurement tools accurately
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 50 -75 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to work in manufacturing facilities, outdoor construction sites, and non-conditioned environments
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods to active project sites as required
