Job Summary
Train, coach, and develop employees to ensure they perform duties in accordance with standard operating procedures and policies. Supervise and coordinate janitorial activities across assigned customer locations, assigning work and inspecting performance against established standards. Manage budgets, schedule staff, approve payroll, and conduct performance reviews or disciplinary actions as needed. Review applications, interview candidates, and recommend personnel actions including hires and discharges. Confer with staff to resolve production and personnel problems while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines and company procedures. Provide outstanding customer service and support business unit performance goals. This full-time, 2nd shift role requires a valid driver's license and frequent travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must meet minimum age requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a stationary position when completing required office work
- Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Ability to position self to reach areas both below waist level to the floor and above their head
- Ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers
- Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants
- Attention to Detail: Thorough in completing tasks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene
- Dependability: Reliable and punctual, able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Integrity: Honest and ethical, particularly in handling company property and equipment as well as clocking time accurately
- Flexibility: Willing to adapt to changing tasks and schedules
- Communication Skills: Able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
- Monday-Friday, some weekends
- 4:00pm-1:00am
- Travel is required frequently
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
- Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
- Excellent time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in implementing operational processes
- Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies
- Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Five years of related experience or supervisory experience preferred
