Job Summary
Lead vaccine management across multiple sites, overseeing storage, inventory, and compliance with VFC, NJIIS, and CDC requirements. Conduct monthly audits of temperature logs and documentation, investigating errors and implementing corrective action plans. Supervise and coach a team of 20+ LPNs and Medical Assistants, managing onboarding, competency validation, and performance improvement initiatives. Monitor clinical workflows for immunizations and patient intake, ensuring adherence to Epic standards and infection control policies. Travel between locations to maintain operational consistency and collaborate with front desk leadership for staffing coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory/management experience, overseeing staff across multiple sites
- Strong experience managing VFC/317/NJIIS immunization programs, including vaccine storage, handling, and compliance
- Experience training and supervising LPNs and Medical Assistants
- Knowledge of FQHC operations, HRSA, UDS, and VFC requirements
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an FQHC, ambulatory care or community health
- Experience in pediatrics, OB/GYN, and family practice
- Experience with Epic EMR
