Job Summary
As a Property Manager at S2 Residential, lead and mentor a team (Leasing Agents, collaborate with Maintenance) to meet performance goals, drive occupancy and resident retention, develop strategies for challenging markets, manage budgets for ROI, and represent the company’s core values. You’ll oversee leasing performance, coordinate with maintenance to complete work orders and turns to S2 standards, report key risks/opportunities to executives, host resident engagements, and uphold regulatory requirements (Fair Housing, Fair Credit Reporting Act, ADA, L tenant laws, OSHA). Requires strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, valid driving license, reliable transportation, and a commitment to excellent customer service in a multi-site environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Property Manager experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Fair Housing and related laws (Fair Housing, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Landlord Tenant Law, OSHA Standards)
- Knowledge of ResMan is a plus
- Valid driver license and auto liability insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Proven leadership and mentoring ability
- Willingness to lead and engage with residents and teams
- Ability to develop and execute strategies to increase occupancy and retention
- Budget oversight and ROI focus
- Experience reporting to executive leadership
