Job Summary
Oversee marketing and leasing of assigned brown-stone and mid-century buildings while coordinating move-in and move-out processes. Manage daily operations, including rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and vendor coordination for maintenance and unit turns. Lead staff recruitment, selection, and performance development while ensuring property cleanliness and resident event organization. Provide compassionate customer service to residents, applicants, and vendors, adhering to Fair Housing guidelines. This full-time role involves hands-on problem-solving across multiple sites in the Twin Cities, with an emphasis on maintaining professional rapport and upholding company values.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in a multi-site or multi-housing environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, owners, vendors and team members
- Experience in managing property finances, including reporting and cost control
- An eye for market trends and the strategy to act on them
- A proactive, solutions-first mindset
- Comfort in working independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift 20 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds regularly
- Able to bend and reach regularly
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- AppFolio Plus experience is preferred
