Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) sought for a full-time split role at Berkeley Springs Healthcare Center and Martinsburg Healthcare Center. Responsibilities include evaluating residents’ occupational needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising COTAs, attending interdisciplinary meetings, and educating patients and families. Opportunity to treat at multiple locations within the CommuniCare network with a focus on resident-centered care in post-acute/long-term care settings. Requires a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, an accredited program, and a current or pending state OT license.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's, Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited Program
- Valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License
- Licensure in West Virginia or eligibility for licensure in WV
- Ability to perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Experience supervising COTAs
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and documentation
- Strong communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Commitment to resident-centered care and post-acute/long-term care settings
