Job Summary
Manage day-to-day tasks for two or more apartment communities, including setting scope, technical specifications, budget tracking, and subcontractor vendor management. Direct and oversee all maintenance work orders and unit turns while pre-diagnosing and troubleshooting building systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances. Lead the maintenance team regarding scheduling, duties, and performance, ensuring preventative actions meet safety and operations procedures. Perform on-call service requests and emergency calls as needed, maintaining inventory of tools and supplies in a cost-effective manner. Complete unit inspections and documentation while exemplifying excellent customer service with residents. This role requires 8+ years of multifamily experience, EPA certification, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years maintenance experience in Multifamily or Hospitality
- Advanced experience in two or more trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
- Working knowledge of appliances
- EPA Universal Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms
- Availability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical functions
Desired Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification
- Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge
- Ability to use on-site resident management software
