Job Summary
RN travel-only, full-time position across CO, NM, TX, and WY facilities requiring a compact RN license and weekly travel. Provides full nursing services to inmate patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, with responsibilities such as administering treatments and medications, medical records maintenance, IV therapy, pharmacology, CPR/AED readiness, and potential leadership as Charge Nurse or Acting Supervisor. Requires flexible availability days/nights seven days a week, 36-48 hours weekly, and living in one of the listed states. Travel weekly to CorrHealth sites; correctional healthcare setting within a secure facility.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted compact license as Registered Nurse; must maintain license
- Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program
- AED certified, must maintain certification
- Experience in correctional healthcare preferred, but not required
- Ability to travel weekly; must maintain certifications and licensing
