Job Summary
Oversee multiple Healthy Kids Program locations in Hyde Park, NY to ensure operational excellence, program quality, and staff development across assigned sites. Serve as on-site leader when needed, support Site Directors, collaborate with staff to implement strategies, address challenges, and achieve program goals. Lead program activities in fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support; ensure alignment with the Healthy Kids Curriculum and a safe, inclusive environment. Maintain compliance with OCFS regulations and host school rules; manage daily operations including attendance, registration, and staffing. Support site directors with performance coaching and professional development; foster a positive, collaborative multi-site culture. Maintain clear parent and school communications via the Playground App; build relationships with schools and the wider community. Requirements include credentials or coursework in related fields and supervisory experience, ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs), and proficiency with HRIS/payroll and Microsoft 365 tools.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
