Job Summary
Directs multi-site before/after school childcare programs in Hyde Park, NY, overseeing program leadership, quality activities (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support), compliance with OCFS policies, operations (attendance, registration, staffing), staff development, and parent/community engagement; collaborates with Site Directors to implement program goals and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment across locations; requires related degree/credential and supervisory experience, plus proficiency with HRIS Paylocity, Playground attendance systems, and Microsoft 365.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Medically cleared to perform job duties
- Friendly, professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Able to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Experience using HRIS platforms similar to Paylocity, as well as registration and attendance management systems comparable to Playground.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams, with the ability to analyze data, manage reporting, and support cross-functional communication.
