Job Summary
Lead by example to create an exemplary customer experience for residents and resolve prospect or resident concerns as they arise. Collect and account for all rents, including daily follow-ups on overdue balances and managing debt collection relationships. Conduct resident move-out inspections, process rental applications, and maintain accurate resident files and move-in calendars. Ensure the community is open and ready for business daily with morning opening duties complete prior to 9am. Maintain professional relationships with vendors, residents, and team members, and aid in monitoring staff operations during the Property Manager's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Two years+ of residential property management experience as an Assistant Property Manager
- Exercises leadership potential
- Must be consistently detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to listen and understand goals
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Valid driver license and auto liability insurance is required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Have a complete understanding of Fair Housing and knowledge of other laws that apply to property management, such as Fair Credit Reporting Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Landlord Tenant Law, and OSHA Standards
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) a plus
- Knowledge of ResMan a plus
