Job Summary

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the property's financial and operational tasks, including accounting close-outs, invoicing, rent collection, bank deposits, reconciliations, and using the property management system to track financials. Responsibilities include supporting leasing and marketing to meet revenue and occupancy goals, reviewing and approving vendor invoices, analyzing market trends, maintaining technology tools and processes, enforcing lease terms (inspections, evictions, collections), conducting property tours and client updates, managing contractors and vendors, promoting resident satisfaction, ensuring safety and appearance standards, and acting as on-site supervisor in the Community Manager's absence while coordinating maintenance and make-readies. The role requires staying informed about market conditions, developing marketing plans to sustain occupancy, and following established policies, with occasional local or non-local travel as needed. Schedule typically 40 hours/week with varied site hours; weekend availability is required. Qualifications emphasize education (HS diploma or GED), relevant property management and customer service experience, software proficiency (Entrata/Yardi/One Site), and a valid driver’s license.
