Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities, operating equipment safely and efficiently while verifying patient information and ensuring appropriate preparation. Produce accurate images for interpretation, explain procedures clearly to patients, and adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support timely diagnosis and treatment while maintaining competency in all assigned imaging procedures. Work nights with a scheduled 24 weekly hours, earning an hourly rate with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance. Located at MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care in Summerville, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT
- Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision
- Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Must be familiar with age specific criteria
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
- Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities
