Multi-Modality Technologist (X-Ray/CT) – Part Time Days

Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout examinations. Verify patient information, operate equipment safely per departmental protocols, and produce accurate images for licensed practitioner interpretation. Maintain competency in assigned procedures, adhere to radiation safety standards, and collaborate with physicians to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies while functioning effectively in a team-oriented environment. Requires 24 weekly hours, day shift, and ARRT certification in both radiography and computed tomography.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT
- Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision
- Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Must be familiar with age specific criteria
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
- Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities
