Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities, while providing exceptional patient care and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Verify patient information and preparation prior to examinations; operate X-ray and CT equipment safely and efficiently; produce accurate diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners; maintain competency in all imaging procedures; adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory policies; collaborate with physicians and health-care team members to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
- Must be registered in Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or recognized equivalent
