Job Summary
Multi-Modality Technologist performs MRI, CT, and X-Ray examinations per protocol and patient needs in an outpatient clinical environment. Responsibilities include positioning patients, obtaining high-quality scans, reviewing charts for information and implants, screening for contraindications, transferring images to radiologists, coordinating scan protocols with the radiologist, maintaining and inspecting equipment, and communicating with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager. Requires ARRT MR/CT/Radiography or ARMRIT certification, current state license (where applicable), CPR, and two+ years of MRI/CT/X-ray experience; graduate of an accredited technologist program; strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Required Qualifications
- Two plus years’ experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – preferred
- Two plus years’ experience in Computed Tomography (CT) – preferred
- Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray – preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification
- Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Registry in Radiography (R)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
