Job Summary
Multi-Modality Technologist responsible for performing MRI, CT, and X-Ray examinations per protocol and age-specific needs in an outpatient clinical setting. Responsibilities include patient interaction to obtain medical history and provide procedure explanations, preparing patients, acquiring high-quality scans, reviewing charts for prior exams and implants, coordinating scan protocols with Radiologists, maintaining equipment, ensuring safety and adherence to procedures, transferring images as needed, and communicating with the Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager. Requires state licensure/certification in MR/CT/Radiography, ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, CPR certification, and two+ years of MRI/CT/X-Ray experience; graduate of an accredited technologist program; strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.”,
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of MR Technologists (ARMRIT) certification
- Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Registry in Radiography (R)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
- Two plus years’ experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – preferred
- Two plus years’ experience in Computed Tomography (CT) – preferred
- Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray – preferred
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
