Multi-Modality Specialist (Full-time, Rotating Shift)

Job Summary
Perform various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and ultrasound examinations, completing at least three modalities competently. Safely transport patients between gurneys and wheelchairs, test defibrillators, and check crash cart integrity. Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures and conduct mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Maintain equipment integrity and support departmental operational goals. This role requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, and current certification in one advanced modality. The position is represented by SEIU.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
