Multi-Modality Specialist (Full-time, Rotating Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and ultrasound examinations while safely transporting patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Prepare contrast agents for procedures and perform mobile imaging as necessary. Operate x-ray, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography equipment by performing at least three modalities competently on a rotating shift basis. Maintain equipment integrity through regular testing of defibrillators and crash carts. Requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, state licensure, and current certification in at least one advanced modality.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
