Job Summary
Perform radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and/or ultrasound examinations while safely transporting patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures and conduct mobile imaging as needed. Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment, ensuring competency in at least three modalities. Test defibrillators and check crash cart integrity daily. This role supports Adventist Health Sierra Vista's Level III NICU and trauma center in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry for Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
