Multi-Modality Specialist (Full-time, Rotating Shift)

Job Summary
Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography equipment, performing at least three modalities competently on a rotating schedule. Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs, prepare contrast agents for procedures, and conduct mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Test defibrillators and verify crash cart integrity to ensure patient safety. Requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, state Radiologic Tech license, ARRT certification, and current certification in at least one advanced modality. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory. This role supports the medical imaging department at Adventist Health Sierra Vista's 162-bed acute care facility, which includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county-designated trauma center.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
