Multi-Modality Specialist (Full-time, Rotating Shift)

Job Summary
Perform radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and/or ultrasound examinations while safely transporting patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures and conduct mobile imaging as necessary. Maintain equipment integrity by testing defibrillators and checking crash carts. Competently operate at least three modalities including CT, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, or sonography. Requires current Radiologic Tech (RT) certification, ARRT certification in a primary modality, and BLS certification. Full-time rotating shift position at a Level III NICU and trauma center near Avila Beach and Pismo Beach.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality

- All required vaccinations
