Job Summary
Operate radiology equipment across multiple modalities including x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography. Ensure the imaging department meets operational goals by performing three modalities regularly, safely transporting patients, testing life-support equipment, preparing contrast agents, and performing mobile imaging as needed. Requires Associate’s degree in radiologic technology with ARRT/RT certifications and BLS; preferred higher degrees and 3+ years’ technical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology is required
- BLS certification required
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of practice required
- ARRT certification required
- Must have current certification in at least one modality and be able to perform duties in at least one other modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, NM, Sonography, PET)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) required
- ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or equivalent modality certifications required
- BLS from AH policy required
- Facility-specific license/certifications as required
