Job Summary
Multi-Modality Specialist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment in a hospital imaging department. Responsibilities include performing at least three modalities regularly, supporting departmental objectives, and ensuring patient safety and care. Requires certification in RT with ARRT and BLS, and current certification in at least one modality with ability to perform duties in another advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography or PET). Education path includes an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology; Bachelor's and/or Master's degrees preferred. Rotating shift; on-site in Oceano, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required
- BLS certification: Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
- ARRT certification: Required
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: CT, M, MRI, NM, S or PET: Required
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or ARDMS or RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET: Required
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: BLS: Required
