Job Summary
Operates and assists in imaging modalities including X-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography; supports achievement of departmental objectives and goals; performs at least three modalities regularly; safeties in patient transport and preparation of contrast agents; maintains essential equipment checks (defibrillator, crash cart); requires licensure and ARRT/ARRT-CT/MRI/NMT/S modules certifications as specified; must hold BLS and work within Radiologic Technology scope in the state of practice; represented by SEIU.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: CT, M, MRI, NM, S or PET: Required
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or ARDMS or ARDMS or RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET: Required
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
