Multi-Modality Specialist (Full-time, Rotating Shift)

Job Summary
Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment, performing at least three modalities regularly. Contribute to departmental objectives and create an environment where the medical imaging department can meet operational goals. Safely transport and transfer patients, prepare contrast agents for procedures, and perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requires proficiency across multiple imaging modalities and current radiologic technology credentials. This role supports SEIU-represented staff at Adventist Health Sierra Vista in San Luis Obispo County.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- BLS certification from approved vendor
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in state of practice
- ARRT certification (various modalities)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or equivalent
- ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or equivalent in CT/MRI/Nuclear Medicine/Sonography/others
- Current certification in at least one modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, NM, Sonography, PET)
- Able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, NM, Sonography, PET)
- ARRT-CT or equivalent in CT or MR/other certifications as applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per AH policy
