Job Summary
Mult Modality Specialist responsible for operation of imaging equipment across x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography modalities. Performs three modalities regularly, assists the imaging department in achieving operational goals, safely transports patients, prepares contrast agents, and performs other duties as assigned to support high-quality diagnostic imaging. Requires BLS, radiologic technology licensure in the practice state, ARRT certification, and current certification in at least one modality with the ability to perform duties in additional modalities. The position is full-time with rotating shifts and is represented by SEIU.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required
- BLS certification: Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
- ARRT certification: Required
- Current certification in at least one modality and ability to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, PET: Required
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
- ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or ARRT-MRI or ARMRIT or ARRT-NMT or SNMT or ARRT-S or ARDMS or RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET: Required
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: BLS: Required
