Job Summary
Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography equipment while performing at least three modalities competently. Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs, test defibrillators, and check crash cart integrity. Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures and perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Assist in accomplishing departmental objectives and create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Requires a Radiologic Tech license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Current certification in one of the modalities and ability to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations
- Understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
