Multi-Modality Specialist (Full-time, Rotating Shift)

Job Summary
Multi-Modality Specialist responsible for operating x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Performs at least three modalities regularly to support departmental objectives; safely transports and transfers patients; tests defibrillator and crash cart, and prepares contrast agents. Requires BLS, RT licensure in the state of practice, ARRT certification, and current certification in at least one additional advanced modality (CT/MRI/Mammography/Nuclear Medicine/Sonography/PET). Vaccinations are required; E-Verify participation noted. Note: Position is rotating shift within Adventist Health Sierra Vista network in Cambria, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required
- BLS certification: Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
- ARRT certification: Required
- Must have a current certification in at least one other advanced modality: CT/M/MRI/NM/S/U/T/PT: Required
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
- ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or ARRT-MRI or ARRT-S or ARRT-NMT or ARRT-PET or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-M (Mammography): Required
- ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or ARRT-MRI or ARMRIT or SNMT or ARRT-S or ARDMS or RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET: Required
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technician (ARRT-NMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or ARDMS or RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET: Required

- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS): Required
