Multi-Modality Specialist - CT & X-Ray, Full-time, Night Shift

Job Summary
Perform computed tomography, x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography examinations, operating at least three modalities competently. Safely transport patients between gurneys and wheelchairs, test defibrillators, and check crash cart integrity. Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures and conduct mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Maintain equipment integrity and assist in accomplishing departmental operational goals. This role requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, current Radiologic Tech license, and ARRT certification in CT, mammography, MRI, or nuclear medicine. Night shift hours are required. Adventist Health Sonora, a 72-bed hospital in Sonora, CA, offers a friendly hometown charm near Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
