Multi-Modality Specialist - CT & X-Ray, Full-time, Night Shift

Job Summary
Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography equipment while performing at least three modalities on a regular basis. Safely transport patients between gurneys and wheelchairs, test defibrillators, check crash cart integrity, and prepare contrast agents for procedures. Conduct mobile imaging examinations as necessary and perform other job-related duties assigned by the medical imaging department. This full-time night shift position requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, current state Radiologic Tech certification, and specific ARRT credentials for CT, mammography, MRI, or nuclear medicine. Adventist Health Sonora, a 72-bed hospital in Sonora, CA, offers this role to support its operational goals in a community near Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
