Multi-Modality Sonographer

Job Summary
Perform general ultrasound imaging, including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echo exams, and a full range of vascular studies such as carotid, venous, arterial, and ABI exams while following established protocols. Obtain patient histories, present key findings to physicians, and communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff. Maintain sterile environments, operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, and participate in quality assessment and accreditation processes. Travel to assigned client locations safely. Work Monday through Friday in daylight hours at outpatient centers, hospitals, clinics, or physician offices.
Required Qualifications
- Active ARDMS Certification
- Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) Certification
- Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) Certification
- Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
- 2 years of Ultrasound experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daylight Hours
- Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner
- Ability to stand for periods of time
- Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Use of protective equipment for occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other infectious materials
Desired Qualifications
- RVT/RVS a plus
- Experience in procedures a plus

- You adapt easily to a variety of clinical settings and patient needs
- You stay up-to-date with clinical advancements in echocardiography and have a desire for continuing education
