Job Summary
Conduct CT and X-Ray procedures while maintaining competency in at least two radiology modalities. Communicate exams and procedures to patients, troubleshoot computer software, and operate all imaging and patient care equipment. Provide on-call coverage for additional modalities on a routine basis and uphold the standard of practice for a registered technologist. Requires BLS certification, state licensure, and 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
