Job Summary
Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board-approved curriculum, focusing on multi-media computer applications. Utilize proficiency in Google Suite, Garage Band, and iMovie to deliver lessons while maintaining a positive learning environment. Ensure compliance with the NJ FIRST Act and manage student data through the Student Information System and IEP software. This 10-month contract role at Franklin Middle School supports the district's technology integration goals.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: K12 (Science, Math or Social Studies) Certification, Elementary K8 Certification, Comprehensive Business Certification OR Computer Applications and Business Related Information Technology Certification
- Experience with applications Such as, GAFE, Garage Band & iMovie
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
- Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System
