Job Summary
Prospect and secure new business through networking, referrals, and outreach. Manage and grow a book of active clients, cultivating long-term partnerships. Develop integrated marketing campaigns that include linear TV, streaming, digital display, social, and branded content. Work cross-functionally with production, creative, promotions, and digital teams to bring campaigns to life. Deliver clear, data-backed proposals and recommendations to clients. Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue goals and quarterly targets. Stay current on media trends, competitive insights, and emerging platforms. This role serves as a consultative partner to local and regional businesses at WAVY-TV, WVBT, and CW Hampton Roads, part of Nexstar Media Group.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2-5 years of proven success in media, marketing, or B2B sales
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (e.g., OTT, SEO/SEM, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- No telecommuting

- CRM experience is a plus
