Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate in a tanning salon environment. Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, consulting with customers in a professional, upbeat manner, educating customers on safe tanning practices and retail items, maintaining a clean salon, opening/closing the business, handling daily administrative paperwork and goal tracking, guiding customers to rooms and demonstrating how to use tanning equipment for first-time users, and attending off-site sales trainings. Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), age 18+, ability to stand/walk for long periods (7 hours), ability to lift 25 pounds, and flexible availability including nights and weekends. Offers guaranteed commission on sales, bonuses, team-oriented culture, training, and benefits. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7 hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
