Multi-Lingual Learner Instructional Assistant (Title I)

Provide support for the MLL program under the supervision of the principal and MLL teacher, work with the MLL teacher to provide targeted academic support in math and reading, collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment with push-in small group instruction, assist students in improving proficiency in math and language through push-in and pull-out instruction, develop and implement instructional strategies for multilingual learners, monitor and assess progress, provide language services to students, staff, and families, assist Spanish-speaking students and families with enrollment, translate school documents and communicate with the community, provide oral interpretation for conferences/IEP meetings, contact parents with student information, assist in other buildings and district events, supervise students during drills/assemblies/trips, flag sensitive issues to the teacher, maintain confidentiality, participate in professional development, and perform other duties as assigned.
