Job Summary
HT Extruder Operator on 2nd shift in Turners Falls, MA. Responsible for setting up and operating multi-head/tandem extruder lines to produce heavy/large wire and cable, monitoring temperatures, speeds, and feeds, running multiple extruders, managing dies and leaders, operating marking/printing equipment, and performing quality tests (concentricity, OD/ID, elongation, adhesion) per specifications. Requires 1-3 years of extrusion or related manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and physical stamina for heavy materials. Includes 2nd shift with a $2.00/hour differential and comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in extrusion or relevant transferable manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality product consistently by following standard operating procedures
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Moderate physical effort required
