Job Summary
Multi-Line Claims Adjuster role delivering remote-capable property and liability claim handling for commercial and residential losses. Responsibilities include field property inspections, utilizing Xactimate for estimating, investigating coverage and negligence, valuing property damage, preparing captioned reports and loss documents (Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, denial letters), obtaining statements from insureds and witnesses, and reserving appropriately for claims. Requires strong communication, time management, and the ability to work with modest supervision; background check required. Preference for a college degree or professional designations (AIC, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience
- State adjuster’s license where required
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Experience in preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to take recorded statements in the field or with legal representatives
- Must demonstrate strong time management and customer service skills
- Maintain own current estimating software; Xactimate preferred
