Job Summary
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair propane and fuel oil systems and appliances. Maintain the service vehicle by reviewing records, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and reporting conditions. Deliver fuel safely and efficiently following proper loading and unloading procedures. Bill customers for services, manage funds and inventory using a handheld terminal, and document system testing. Provide superior customer service while striving for zero complaints. Requires a Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs
- Exceptional customer service skills
- English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- ability to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- ability to respond to official inquiries
- ability to make entries on reports and records
