Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations of a multifamily residential property to maintain high occupancy and tenant satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing leasing activities, managing on-site staff, budgeting and financial duties, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining resident relations. Drive leasing strategies, approve applications and leases, market the property, conduct inspections, enforce lease terms, and communicate with residents through newsletters and notices. Lead property staff, conduct evaluations, and monitor operating budgets while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Fair Housing laws.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage)
- Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred
- Ability to pass background checks
- On-site presence required at multifamily property
