Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes. Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards while walking the property daily to monitor conditions. Assist with storage area maintenance, refurbishing, snow removal, and after-hours emergency service requests available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Notify the Business Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings, maintaining accurate records of all tasks completed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience
- Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushing
- Sufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessment up to the standards of a Service Technician I
- Available for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service requests, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as scheduled
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CFC Type I & II preferred, 180 days from hire to obtain
