Job Summary
Lead the maintenance team at Statesboro Housing Authority in managing upkeep of multi-family housing units. Extensive experience in public housing maintenance, including supervising staff and communication with contractors, is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven years of previous HUD-assisted multi-family or public housing maintenance experience
- Three years of supervisory experience in a multi-family apartment complex
Desired Qualifications
- Technical college certificate in one of the construction trades (HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical)
- College degree in a technical related field such as construction management or engineering (preferred)
- EPA certification (preferred)
- Computer proficiency
Additional Requirements
- Must reside in Statesboro/Bulloch County, GA or be willing to move within 12 months of hire
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol test, DMV check, credit check, and criminal background check
