Job Summary
Interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints, then communicate effectively with team members and site personnel. Plan, execute, and oversee construction activities to ensure project objectives are met, while assigning tasks to crew members and subcontractors for efficient workflow. Provide daily project status updates to the superintendent and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety policies and enforcing safe work practices. Demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example, guiding team members, and mentoring labourers and carpenter apprentices. Enforce quality standards to ensure work meets specifications and industry expectations. Work year-round in various weather conditions, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. The project is located in Martensville, just 8 kilometers north of Saskatoon. This large, well-respected builder specializes in the design and construction of modern, multi-family residential developments across Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience
- expertise in both concrete and wood-frame methods
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or management role on construction sites
- Strong background managing large-scale projects
