Job Summary
Evaluate construction deficiencies at multi-family properties and determine improvements for code compliance. Create comprehensive scopes of work to repair property issues and inspect job sites with clients, sales, and adjusters to prepare detailed estimates in Xactimate. Work with supervisors to ensure accurate cost estimates, complete bid packages, and facilitate communications between adjusters, clients, and sales representatives. Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters, provide industry expertise during contract negotiations, and assist with hard cost estimating and invoicing documentation. Requires construction experience, multi-family knowledge, and familiarity with quantity take-offs.
Required Qualifications
- Construction experience
- Multi-family construction experience
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively with Company staff, contractors, and customers both orally and written
- Ability to maintain a cooperative and collaborative working relationship with a variety of Company staff, contractors and customers
- Travel as assigned
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills, including ability to work with a variety of subcontractors
- High integrity
