Multi-Family Component/Truss Estimator

Job Summary
Estimating role performing material take-offs for multi-family truss and component designs; review construction documents to determine materials for bids; identify and correct inaccuracies in truss-related material lists; interpret architectural and structural plans to generate truss layouts; collaborate with Component/Truss Designers to ensure accurate truss and panel specifications; field support by working with outside sales on blueprint interpretation and project details; provide updates on take-off status and assist sales teams in project selling; full benefits package available after probation period.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years hands-on experience in multi-family truss design or truss estimating
- read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints for truss layout
- familiarity with professional estimating software
- proficiency in MiTek truss design software (preferred); ITW/Alpine experience is a plus
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- experience in building material sales is helpful
- strong understanding of multi-family construction standards
- Familiarity with professional estimating software
