MULTI-DOMAIN SYSTEM SIMULATION ENGINEER (VEHICLE & POWERTRAIN) - (34758)

Lead development and integration of system-level, multi-domain vehicle and powertrain simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink, including mechanical, electrical, thermal, and control systems. Own co-simulation architectures and interfaces to enable data exchange and synchronization between MATLAB/Simulink, GT Power, and AMESim models. Define and govern model architectures, libraries, and integration standards to ensure scalability and reusability across multiple vehicle configurations. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate multi-domain modeling, integration, and validation activities across internal teams and external contributors. Provide technical leadership through code and model reviews, and contribute hands-on development when needed to address complex issues. Act as the primary technical authority for cross-domain model behavior, diagnose interactions between engine, transmission, electric machine, battery, thermal, and vehicle systems, and define validation strategies to ensure robust, repeatable results for engineering decision-making. Oversee structure and versioning of shared libraries used across programs and teams, support internal engineering users by triaging issues related to system-level and co-simulation behavior, and drive continuous improvement of model robustness and performance. Fluent English required for collaboration with global teams and external partners.
